At Latent Lens, we are committed to providing the best customer experience possible. Although the vast majority of our customers are satisfied with their AI headshots, there may be instances where your photos don't meet your expectations. We are more than willing to offer a complimentary redo or a 100% refund in such cases. However, because our product is digital, we have implemented several policies to ensure fairness and prevent abuse.
1. The Latent Lens Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our AI-generated headshots. If you're not completely satisfied with your results, we will either provide a complimentary redo with adjusted settings or issue a 100% refund—your choice, no questions asked.
Our goal is to ensure every customer receives professional headshots they're proud to use. If we can't deliver that, you shouldn't have to pay.
2. Free Preview
We offer a free preview that includes model training and watermarked outputs. You pay only when you choose to unlock high-resolution, unwatermarked images. This allows you to evaluate the quality of your AI-generated headshots risk-free before purchasing. We encourage you to use this preview to ensure our service meets your expectations.
3. What Qualifies for a Refund
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- You request a refund within 14 days of your purchase
- You have not downloaded your high-resolution, unwatermarked headshots
- This is your first refund request with Latent Lens
If you followed our upload instructions and are still dissatisfied with the output quality, we will examine your uploaded photos and may offer a complimentary redo before processing a refund.
4. What Doesn't Qualify for a Refund
We may not be able to provide a refund in the following scenarios:
- Not Following Upload Instructions. If you are dissatisfied with your output, we will examine your uploaded photos to verify that you adhered to our upload instructions. Poor-quality input photos (blurry, low-resolution, poor lighting) may produce suboptimal results.
- Using Your Photos. To prevent abuse, downloading your high-resolution, unwatermarked headshots is considered using your product. You have the opportunity to preview all of your AI-generated pictures before downloading.
- Timeframe. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase.
- Multiple Requests. Multiple refund requests from the same user or account.
- Terms Violations. Violation of our Terms of Service or suspected fraud/abuse.
5. How to Request a Refund

When requesting a refund, please include the email address associated with your purchase. You do not need to provide a reason, though feedback helps us improve.
6. How Long Do Refunds Take
Refunds are processed through Polar Software, Inc., our payment provider and merchant of record.

The refund will be credited to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time to appear on your statement.
7. EU/EEA Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). This right entitles you to cancel your purchase within 14 days of the transaction for any reason.
The conditions described in Sections 3 and 4 above (such as not having downloaded high-resolution images) are in addition to, and do not override, any mandatory consumer protection rights afforded to you under your local laws. Where local law provides greater protection, your statutory rights prevail.
