AI Headshot Tools — Frequently Asked Questions
Which tools are available without payment?
The LinkedIn Photo Analyzer can currently be used without payment. Requesting Latent Lens beta access also requires no payment, but a request does not guarantee acceptance or access to a generation workflow.
How do AI headshots compare to studio photography?
AI-assisted and studio photography use different workflows. Review any generated portrait for identity accuracy, facial details, clothing, and background artifacts before publishing it. Latent Lens does not currently publish a controlled blind test that supports an “indistinguishable” claim.
What photos should I upload for best results?
Follow the instructions provided to accepted beta testers. In general, choose recent, unfiltered photos that show one consenting adult clearly from several useful angles. See our source-photo checklist.
Can I use AI headshots for LinkedIn?
LinkedIn allows an artistic rendering when it still reflects the member's likeness. Review the final portrait for accuracy and check LinkedIn's current profile-photo rules before publishing. Our LinkedIn photo checklist links to the official guidance.
