Policy summary, not a certification

Latent Lens is in an early-access beta. This page summarizes published policies and reporting paths; it does not claim a security certification, audit result, guaranteed control, guaranteed detection capability, or guaranteed response time.

The Terms of Service govern acceptable use and account action. The Privacy Policy governs personal-data processing, and the Data Processing page provides additional operational context. If this summary conflicts with those policies, the applicable policy controls.

1. Sources and Scope

The beta workflow, providers, features, and availability can change. Accepted testers should review the instructions and policies supplied for their session before uploading photos or using output.

  • Privacy and retention details belong in the Privacy Policy.
  • Service-provider details belong in the Data Processing page.
  • Prohibited conduct and output rights belong in the Terms of Service.
  • Paid-purchase eligibility belongs in the Refund Policy; the a beta request, when available, collects no payment.

2. Data Processing

Latent Lens uses service providers to operate the site and beta. Personal data may be shared with providers for services performed on our behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy. Processing is not guaranteed to occur only on your device.

If enabled, the LinkedIn Photo Analyzer uploads the selected image to a Latent Lens server and forwards it to OpenAI Vision for analysis. Accepted headshot-beta testers receive the applicable processing details before uploading source photos.

We use technical and organizational safeguards, but no method of electronic transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security. Retention, deletion requests, model-improvement use, and applicable exceptions are described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable Use

The Terms of Service contain the complete rules. In summary, users must not use Latent Lens for illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, fraudulent, deceptive, or non-consensual content.

  • Do not upload another person's image without the required authorization and consent.
  • Do not submit images depicting minors to the headshot service.
  • Do not create impersonation, non-consensual intimate imagery, disinformation, or political manipulation.
  • Do not infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.
  • Do not interfere with the service or circumvent security features.

This summary does not assert that every violation is detected automatically or before processing.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Protect your account and email credentials.
  • Upload only content you are permitted to use and process.
  • Review generated output for identity errors, artifacts, and misleading details before publishing it.
  • Follow applicable law, platform rules, the active Terms of Service, and any beta-session instructions.
  • Notify us if you believe an account, image, or output has been misused.

5. Reports and Enforcement

Report suspected misuse using the email address on the contact page. Include enough context to identify the account, page, or content involved, but do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive data.

We may investigate and take action under the Terms of Service, including restricting access or preserving information when legally required. A report does not guarantee a particular outcome, review method, or response time.

6. Security Reports

If you believe you found a security issue, contact us before sharing details publicly. Do not access another user's data, degrade the service, run destructive tests, or perform a penetration test without prior written authorization.

Latent Lens does not publish a bug-bounty promise, response SLA, certification, penetration-test result, or audit report on this page.
